Summer spirit: strawberry field in our kitchen

And here is the beginning of November.

Sunny days happens more rarely and sometimes sky overcast whole day.  Exactly in the days like this the summer is wanted the most.

We were at home, my little daughter and I and we decided to bring a small part of summer at home. We pulled the box with different cloths from storeroom and found long time ago bought shantung cloth and waffle linen with pattern of strawberry field and another cloth with green spots on a bright green field. My daughter loves to play with different cloths and moreover with so bright and colored.

In our kitchen new summer things appeared in two days: strawberry field on the table cover, six waffle towels and a pillow on a chair.

Sling accessories for active moms and their babies; stylish and super cute

Lately I took interest in creating different sling accessories.

The process starts from knitting in natural wooden beans with 100% cotton yarn. The beans obtain intense multicolored variety and colors don't pale after several washes in washing machine in 40°C.

The first Sling necklace I have knitted before my daughter was born. 

It appeared to be very convenient and practical: I wore it as a widget in the beginning and after two month old my little daughter began to play with it. Now she plays with it when looking into the mirror.

When teething started I have made a teathing-beans-toy-rainbow. Lots of staff happened and it helped a lot: teeth cutting, flying in the planes, bathing, getting sleep. Unfortunately we have lost it on a walk thus I have only this photo made on the phone. Similar toys were made for my friends babies (a boy and a girl) and it was very popular among them as well.

For one charming girl, who lives in Dubai, I have made a beans wristlet (she has sent the photo).

In the rainy days of Autumn new cute sling beans accessories were created which can become perfect gifts for  moms and their little babies :)

Upgrade my daugther's hat

The beginning of  November...

Days become frosty and we have to think about head wear for my little daughter. After revision of our belongings  it appeared that we have no appropriate hat for inter season weather. Only one thing was found, it was gifted by my friend, however my daughter has grown out of it and ears were not covered.

What is the decision? To buy new one? Naah!

I have looked for the remaining yarn I had. The only option - pockets from my dress. And almost of the same shade I had some cotton. This is what I decided to use to upgrade the hat.

Curtain with butterflies

I wanted to make curtain lace into child room in Autumn 2014. I wanted something soft,  flimsy, vapory. Butterflies, maybe. And the most important - that the sun light filled the room swiftly.

My searches started in online shops. Only on Chinese sites I managed to find perfect butterflies, however I didn't want to risk and to receive a pig in the poke as I needed at least 10 meters of the cloth. Thus eventually I found similar colored cloth manufactured in Turkey. They had two or three color varieties but none that I would like. There was their office in Moscow and I decided to go there. And in their storage I chose the most multicolored cloth that it would be easier to choose matching colored cloth for the second curtains later.

In two months I have found appropriate cloths for the second curtains. I started to sew it after the curtain rods were installed. Because of much travelling only on last weekend I have finished it at last. And here it is:

My goal - maximum light was achieved with organza cloth. And the curtain lace made from organza cloth is divided into two parts that it would be easy to go to the balcony.
